As an agriculture student, you have probably considered the challenges of growing and marketing crops for profit. Whether you’re raising apples, cows, hogs, or wheat, the production and marketing process is clearly much more complicated than just following a recipe or an instruction booklet! To succeed, farmers and ranchers must be problem solvers and critical thinkers.
This course will introduce you to agriculture’s five general categories of risk. As you gain an understanding of these risks, you will be better equipped to find solutions that help ensure a sustainable and successful future for the farms and ranches you will soon own or work for.
